Lindsay Gilbee (born 8 July 1981) is an Australian rules footballer who plays most of his football at half back. 2005 was a great year for Gilbee as he grew into a pivotal player for the Western Bulldogs with his devastatingly accurate right boot, hard running and link play from defence. With his consistent effort throughout the year, Gilbee was unlucky not to receive All-Australian selection, yet he gained a spot on the International Rules team due to a lack of interest from selected players. His promotion to the Australian team was well and truly justified with Gilbee starring in the International Rules series, displaying remarkable skill and adaptation to the round-ball game. Despite playing most of his career in defence he loves to sneak forward and kick booming goals from outside the 50 metre line and a move into the midfield may be on the cards for the 2006 season.

Gilbee followed up his 2005 season with another worthy performance in 2006. He gained his first All-Australian guernsey and performed consistently well throughout the season off halfback.

Linsay Gilbee currently goes out with Jaimie Gardner from Berwick, Victoria.
