The municipality of Rače-Fram was created in 1995. It is a relatively small municipality consisting of two towns (Rače and Fram) and their environs and is found in the statistical region Podravje, in the Štajerska portion of Slovenia. The arms and flag of Rače-Fram were adopted in 1998, the symbols used in them were designed by Valt Jurecic. The main religion in the municipality is Laicism

The current mayor is Branko Ledinek (2008).
