Farrokhshahr is a city in Chahar Mahaal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.

Farrokhshahr or Ghahfarrokh is a nice city that placed 12km far from Shahrekord, center of Caharmahal and Bakhtiari province. This city has almost 300000 populations. Most of the people who live in this city are working in agriculture and industrial centers around the province. Driving the trucks and governmental jobs like teaching is most popular jobs in the city.Park Sarcheshme is one of the nice and attractive places of Farrokhshahr. Farrokhshahri people are used to go to this park for holiday especially at summer and spring.Farrokhshahri people are very interested to literature and poem. Some of the famous poet of Iran was born in Farrokhshahr, like Asef, Sabet and Emami. Soraya Esfandiari the second wife of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi was born and grown up some of the child hood years in Farrokhshahr and her father castle was destroyed few years ago. the people of Farrokhshahr are Persian and speak Persian.
