Birdpur

Birdpur is a town in Siddharth Nagar District in Uttar Pradesh in India located at coord|27.3833|N|83.1167|E|. It is at an elevation of 92 m (301 feet).

It was an estate (Zamindari) during British Raj, it was a part of the United Province. During 1896-97, the place became widely known as excavations in a village named Piprahwa yielded remains associated with Buddha.now at this time it is very populer sity of siddharthanagar.in the birdpur there is a inter college named budh vidya peeth intercollege.near the inter college there is a very old medical store named as TAJ MEDICAL STORE,the owner of the medical store is MR.ABDUL HAKEEM.Mr Abdul Hakeem helped in developing of Birdpur,he know every street of the birdpur.Now at this time he is working in as a social worker.His younger son Mr.WAseem Hakeem is also a social worker.now at this time birdpur is also known as BUDDHANAGAR BIRDPUR.WASEEM HAKEEM is a student of B-tech(electronics & communication)3rd year of integral university lucknow.
