Ardley , nearBicester inOxfordshire ,England . They are currently members of theHellenic Football League Premier Division.Founded in
1945 , Ardley spent the majority of their early years in local competitions, primarily the Lord Jersey FA league and cup events. They stepped up in1988 to theOxfordshire Senior League and won Division One at the first attempt, gaining promotion to the Premier Division. Within two seasons, they had won that Division as well. The club stayed in the Oxfordshire league for two more seasons, until in1993 they joined the Hellenic League.Since joining the Hellenic League, they have won the Division One Championship twice and been runner-up twice more, until finally gaining promotion to the Premier Division in
2003 . The previous basic nature of the club's ground had prevented promotion in previous years. After upgrading the facilities enough to be awarded the "Most Improved Ground" award from the Non-League Paper in2005 , the ground was also deemed acceptable for entry to theFA Vase for the first time.
