Salford City F.C. are a football club based in Salford, Lancashire, England. They are only one of two semi-professional sides in the city, the other being Irlam FC, with Manchester United F.C. the closest league club. Salford City currently play in the Northern Premier League Division One North. The club enjoy a rivalry with FC United of Manchester, and with Maine Road F.C. - whose fanbase is substantially aligned to Manchester City F.C. The Club's home ground is on Moor lane in Kersal.

Recent achievements

In the 2004-05 season, the club reached the third round of the FA Vase.

They have reached the third qualifying round of the FA Cup in season 2005-06.

2007-08 season, North West Counties League Division One Runners-Up.
