Texas Battle (born Texas Quency Battle on August 9, 1980 in Houston, Texas) is an American film and television actor. He is best known for his roles in such Hollywood films as "Coach Carter", "Final Destination 3" and "". He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in kinesiology. He was a substitute teacher before moving to Los Angeles. Once in Los Angeles, Texas Battle started to pursue the modeling, and commercial industry. It wasn't until spring 2004 when he first got his opportunity at his film career, when he auditioned, and got cast as "Maddux" in the blockbuster film (Coach Carter) starring Samuel Jackson.

In May 2008 he was cast on the CBS soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" playing a character named Marcus Walton. The new actor comes on to the show as the first African American with an in depth story line. Texas comments on the huge role as stating "It really does feel good that the writers/producers of the show, really have trust in me on bringing this new character to life. Im happy to be a part of a show that really has a family feeling. Every one of my cast members are fun to work with. Makes you feel good to get up in the morning, and go to work doing something you love".
