SMK Putrajaya 2

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 9 (1) (in Malay), is the second secondary school to be built in the area of Putrajaya, Malaysia. It is located in Precinct 9, Putrajaya. The school was called "SMK Putrajaya 2" before a second SMK Putrajaya 2 Fasa 2 was built in early 2007. Confusion arose thus urging the authorities to rename every school in Putrajaya as one precinct could have up to two schools. The school's design is different, with a more modern look, compared to other schools located in Malaysia. Same goes to its neighbouring schools in the other precincts, SMK Putrajaya Presint 8 (1), SMK Putrajaya Presint 11 (1), SMK Putrajaya Presint 16 (1).
