Holway is a suburb of Taunton the county town of the English county of Somerset.

Once a village in its own right it is speculated that the settlement that grew to be Taunton was sited there.

Holway was originally one of the "Five Hundreds of Taunton-Dean", the infaring division or district of the three districts that made up Taunton-Dean [http://www.somerset.gov.uk/archives/guides/house.htm] .
