This is a list of Presidents of India includes the persons sworn into the office as President of India following the adoption of the Indian constitution in 1950. This list is numbered based on elections for the post of President of India. For this reason the terms of Varahagiri Venkata Giri, Muhammad Hidayatullah and Basappa Danappa Jatti as acting Presidents of India are not numbered.
