Slidedidge

Slidedidge

A slidedidge is a variable-pitch didgeridoo. A cross between a slide trombone and aboriginal Australian didgeridoo, it was developed by Scott Dunbar. It plays more than 14 notes; each note is clearly marked along the instrument’s length, allowing the player to tune the didge to whatever piece of music is being played. Most examples are made from PVC pipe (tubing), though a more professional version has been made from timber tube.
