Theophilus Francis Rodenbough (Nov 5, 1838 – Dec 19, 1912) was born in Easton, Pennsylvania and was a Union Army Officer during the American Civil War who received America's highest military decoration the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Gettysburg Campaign at the Battle of Trevilian Station.

Biography

During the American Civil War "Rodenbough" served in the campaigns of the Army of the Potomac , and he commanded the 2nd U.S. Cavalry during the Gettysburg Campaign. He received the Medal of Honor for his efforts in the June 11, 1864, Battle of Trevilian Station. Virginia.cite web

He was retired in 1870 as a colonel. Afterwards, he was occupied as an author and as an employee of the Soldiers' Home in Washington, D.C., and in New York State.

He was the author of:
