Bark (nonprofit)

Bark (nonprofit)

Bark is a grassroots, non-profit organization based in the northwest portion of the U.S. state of Oregon that works to preserve the forests, waters and wildlife of Mount Hood National Forest and surrounding regions.

Bark supporters monitor logging, challenge destructive timber sales in the area and provide education and advocacy programs to bring attention to the vanishing legacy of forests and wildlands on Mount Hood. They lead monthly hikes, on the second Sunday of every month, in the Mount Hood National Forest.
