Pyotr Zayev

Pyotr Ivanovich Zayev ( _ru. Пётр Иванович Заев; born July 26, 1953 in Lipetsk) is a former boxer, who won the silver medal for the USSR in the Heavyweight division (+81 kg) at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. In the final he was defeated by titleholder Teófilo Stevenson of Cuba. Zayev trained at the Dynamo sports society until 1975 and since then at the Armed Forces sports society.
