June 25 ,1971 inLitvínov ,Czech Republic ) is aprofessional ice hockey centre who played in theNational Hockey League for theCalgary Flames ,New York Islanders ,Phoenix Coyotes andToronto Maple Leafs .Reichel was drafted 70th overall by the Flames in the1989 NHL Entry Draft . He has played in 830 career NHL games, scoring 252 goals and 378 assists for 630 points. Currently he is playing for his home town teamHC Litvínov , a professional hockey team in the Czech Republic. He is currently thecaptain of the team.He scored the lone shootout goal for the Czech Republic in their semifinal win over Canada in the 1998 Winter Olympics. They went on to beat Russia in the gold medal game.
