Shawn Cosgrove

Shawn Cosgrove (born December 2, 1955) is a famous Australian voice-over artist and announcer.

His most famous credit to date is probably his performance as the announcer on The Price is Right, where he shouts before the start of play to contestants: "Come on Down!".

Known as "Cossy", he has also been a radio host on Gold FM and can today be heard on a wide range of television and radio commercials. He is also the chief voiceover announcer on SEN 1116. He now works as a radio personality host on 3MP during the afternoon, every day from 3-7pm.

Before he announced "The Price is Right" for the Nine Network, he was the announcer on a Seven Network kids' game show pilot called "Inter-Stellar Patrol" (hosted by Tony Gordon).

Shawn can also be seen as an announcer at the Winner's Club at Moonee Valley Racecourse on raceday meetings.

There is a rumour circulating that Shawn Cosgrove will be the crowd warmer for the Nine Network's "Million Dollar Wheel"
