Walter Latter Cornford (born December 25, 1900, Hurst Green, East Sussex, died February 6, 1964, Brighton, Sussex) was an English cricketer: a wicket-keeper who played in 4 Tests in 1930 and played county cricket for Sussex County Cricket Club. His nickname of Tich alluded to the fact that he stood barely five feet tall.cite web |url=http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/ci/content/player/10817.html | title=Players and Officials - Tich Cornford | work=Wisden Cricketers' Almanack |accessdate=2007-09-24 | publisher=Cricinfo]

His county career stretched from 1921 until the outbreak of the Second World War, but he made one further appearance in an emergency at the age of 46 in 1947.
