Salford Jets was a British rock band, who began life in 1976 [http://www.answers.com/topic/salford-jets-1] , and operated in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

The band included Mike Sweeney, later of Piccadilly 1152. They had a hit single in 1980 called "Who You Looking At?", released on RCA, [http://worthless-trash.blogspot.com/2007/10/salford-jets.html] which reached number 72 in the UK Singles Chart.cite book
