Adyanthaya

Adyanthaya is a family name from the Bunt community who hail from South Kanara District in Karnataka state, India. The word Adyanthaya is derived from Sanskrit meaning, "the one who knows the beginning and the end". It is a rare and unique Indian last name with probably less than 300 families around the globe. The individuals are usually from the higher strata of the society consisting of highly educated and successful people. Recently, the family also started a college called Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology in Nitte.
