Kizhakkancheri is a small village in Palakkad district of Kerala state, south India. It is under Alathur Taluk in Palakkad district of Kerala state, India. It is a panchayath with hills and greenery. It's basically an agriculture based area. There is a grand car festival (Ratholsavam) being celebrated in the village Samooham sometime in the month of Makaram. The Deity is taken through the village and ends in Arattu (Sacred bathing of the deity in the river)
