Trinidad and Tobago in 1984 that qualified for theFIFA World Youth Championship in theSoviet Union in 1985. He burst on to the national scene in 1986, when he made his debut for Canada in the opening game of the World Cup in Mexico against France. He held the famous French team scoreless until the 79th minute whenJean Pierre Papin gave France a narrow 1-0 victory.Dolan had a trial with
Notts County of England'sFootball League following the World Cup, but returned to Canada to continue his career in the Canadian Soccer League, where playing forVancouver 86ers andHamilton Steelers and winning the CSL championship with the 86ers in 1990 and 1991.In 2004, Dolan was inducted into the
