Ripcord Networks is a voice and video cryptographic security company. Their worldwide headquarters is in Sunnyvale, California in the United States. The company offers secure solutions for voice and video calling and conferencing from PC software, desk phones, cellular/mobile phones, femtocell, and through a secure Appliance.

Ripcord Networks was founded in 2003. Board members include Steve Wozniak, Apple Computer's co-founder; John McAfee, McAfee Antivirus founder, Ellen Hancock, the former CEO of Exodus Communications, former CTO of Apple Computer, and former EVP of IBM; also on the board is Ret. Col. Mike Connor, the former COO of Cable & Wireless USA, COO of Exodus Communications, EVP of ADP, and VP of research and development at Apple Computer. Ripcord's founder and CEO, Alex Fielding, is a noted expert in the areas of network technology and architecture and has held various posts at Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, DEC, Cadence, Exodus, TVDC, and co-founded Woz.com with Steve Wozniak.
