Maintenance fee

A maintenance fee, beyond the self evident meaning of 'a charge for maintaining something' can refer specifically to;

  • a fee need to be paid during the term of a patent in order to maintain it into force, see maintenance fee (patent)
  • a management fee, see Mutual Fund Fee and Expenses
  • maintenance fee (EPA), the annual fees paid by pesticide manufacturers and formulators to continue registration of pesticide active ingredients and products with the Environmental Protection Agency.
