WLGA is a television station in Opelika, Alabama. The channel is affiliated with The CW and broadcasts on UHF channel 66. Its studios are located in Opelika, with its transmitter located in Cusseta, Georgia. The station serves western Georgia and eastern Alabama.

The station signed on for the first time on May 16, 1982 as WSWS-TV. WSWS carried cartoons, religious shows, low budget movies, and programming from the Financial News Network in the early 1980s. It was owned by Warden Broadcastng.

The FNN programs were dropped by 1987 and the station continued with its blend of barter cartoons, barter sitcoms, religious shows, and older movies. It later affiliated with Christian Television Network (CTN). RCH Broadcasting acquired the station in 1988.

The station continued with an all barter programming lineup along with Christian programming from CTN. It affiliated with the upsart UPN network in 1995, however it had also aired programs from The WB (secondary), and CTN (primary under CTN ownership). It added some programming from Pax TV (secondary) as well. Beginning in September 2006 the station joined The CW as an affiliate when UPN merged with The WB network. Pappas Telecasting bought the station outright in 1996 and upgraded programming somewhat.

Channel 66 was WSWS until a call letter change to WLGA was approved by the FCC and went into effect on June 27, 2005. The "WSWS" calls now reside on sister station WSWS-CA, the ABC affiliate in North Platte, Nebraska.
