Yelena Belevskaya

Yelena Belevskaya ( _ru. Елена Белевская)(born October 11, 1963 in Eupatoria, Crimea, Ukrainian SSR [http://www.iaaf.org/athletes/athlete%3D67418/ IAAF profile] ] ) is a retired athlete who represented the USSR until 1991 and Belarus since 1992. She trained at Trudovye Rezervy in Minsk. [cite web|title=Year 1988 Byelorussians in Calgary and Seoul|url=http://www.noc.by/html/games/igri_1988.html|work=NOC of Belarus|language=Russian] Competing in long jump, in 1987 she won a bronze medal at the World Indoor Championships and a silver medal at the World Championships. The same year she jumped 7.39 metres, which puts her 6th in the all-time performers list.
