Ebbw Valley Line . The station was opened on February 6th 2008 after the Ebbw Valley line was restored to passenger use after 46 years of being a freight only line.The station has been built on a site close to the former Victoria station in the Victoria area of the
Ebbw Vale conurbation. It consists of a single platform adjacent to Glan Ebbw Terrace, close to the A4046 Station Road.There is a dedicated
rail linc bus that connects with incoming trains. The bus operates from the station to Rassau via Ebbw Vale town centre, Ebbw Vale Civic Centre, Ebbw Vale College, Morrsions and Rhyd-y-blew. This service is provided by Clarkes Coaches and is free to rail ticket holders. Bus stops are also located on the nearby A4046 and provide access to services to nearby communities such as Cwm and the Garden Festival Shopping site.A standard day return to Cardiff Central costs £6.00 with off peak tickets charged at £5.20
