Jason Lewry

Jason Lewry (born April 2, 1971) is an English cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-fast bowler.

Born in Worthing, he has played for Sussex since the beginning of his career in 1993, thus making him one of their longest-serving players. He has played Twenty20 cricket since 2003. A deadly seam bowler, Lewry once recorded seven wickets in the space of 14 balls against Hampshire in 2001.

He was selected in 1998/99 for the England A tour in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

He took 40 wickets in 2005, helping Sussex realise third place in the Championship table.
