Pearl Lowe (born April 7, 1970 in Wimbledon, London) is a singer-songwriter turned fashion and textiles designer.

Career

She was the vocalist of mid-1990s indie bands Powder and Lodger, which she fronted after a brief period at LAMDA, and as a solo-artist under the name Pearl.

Lowe published her memoir "All That Glitters" in 2007, a somber look at overcoming addiction.

She occasionally models, represented by Premier Model Management, and was briefly the face of Agent Provocateur. Lowe is also an ambassador for the homeless charity Crisis. Personal life

Since 1995 her partner has been Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey, with whom she has three children, Alfie (born 1996), Frankie (born 1999) and Betty (born 2005).

In 2001, rumours spread that Goffey and Lowe had engaged in 'wife-swapping' with Jude Law and his now ex-wife Sadie Frost, whilst on holiday in Greece. Although Law denied this, Lowe later told "News of the World" in 2005:

The story's correct, even though I wish it wasn't.... We thought it would be fun, but it turned out to have some unpleasant repercussions. Danny and I had real problems in our relationship as a result. She also has a daughter, Daisy Lowe (born 1989), with singer Gavin Rossdale. Paternity was not questioned and Lowe listed "Bronner Lowe" on Daisy's birth certificate. Rossdale had initially offered to take a paternity test, but backed away. It wasn't until Daisy found out that neither Lowe nor Handwerger had the requisite O-type blood that she shared, that Lowe sought a paternity test through her lawyers. The paternity test revealed that Daisy's godfather, Rossdale, was in fact her biological father.

Lowe and her family live in the Somerset countryside, after residing in North London for many years.
