The Yellow Line of the
Delhi Metro system inDelhi consists of 10metro station s fromVishwa Vidyalaya toCentral Secretariat with a total distance of 11 km. This line is fully underground and has been laid under one of the most congested parts of Delhi.A 4 km section of this line between Vishvavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate commenced commercial operations from
December 20 , 2004. The next section between Kashmere Gate and Central Secretariat (7 km) opened for the public fromJuly 3 ,2005 .The line is fully operational.
