"Genso Suikoden I&II" is a re-release of the PlayStation console role-playing games "Suikoden" and "Suikoden II", ported to the PlayStation Portable. Konami announced the game in the 4^th quarter of 2005, and the compilation was released on February 23, 2006.

Playstation Portable changes

*The player is now able to move their character diagonally.
*The rate of experience gain for characters accompanied by powerful characters has been reduced.fact|date=March 2007
*Certain character portraits have been changed.
*The "Suikoden 1" opening movie is now the one from the Sega Saturn version.
*Graphics (as well as the movies) have been slightly enhanced and redone to fit widescreen.
* The Matilda "Glitch" has been removed from Suikoden II.

While it was originally heard that this port would not be released elsewhere, the art director of the Suikoden series stated in his blog about a possible overseas release. Reception

"Genso Suikoden I & II" had very low sales in Japan, selling a mere 21,707 copies despite being critically praised.
