Crumber

Crumber

A crumber is a tool designed to remove crumbs from a table cloth. With origins dating as far back as Roman times, the modern form of the crumber, which is used in fine restaurants worldwide dates to 1939 [1]. Invented by John Henry Miller his patent described it as a compact Crumber that could be "carried very conveniently in the pocket". The average crumber is approximately 6 inches in length, 1/2 inch in girth and is curved. Most crumbers are made of metal, but can also be found in plastic, ivory, or silver.
