Hreljin belongs to septem turres of roman's Liburna. When and who founded Hreljin is not known. Legend talks that Herkul from Greek come on one hill and founded Hreljin.
1228. Hreljn signs Vinodol act where city of Hreljin is one of nine Vinodol castles.
