-
Manu le Malin, a stage name literally meaning "Wily Manu", is a French musician and one of representatives of the hardcore techno genre.
Born in France as Emmanuel Dauchez, Danchez played for a few years on the European techno scene as it widened. His music's airs of ex-skinhead and the associated hard edge quickly brought him a reputation for hard music.
His reformulated style, as initially presented on his first album Biomechanik, came closer to hardcore techno, with a sound sometimes compared to metal music because of its heaviness and the dark subjects that it focused on.
He played at several parties, festivals, and additional albums, but it was only in 2002 that Malin first created his first originally composed album, Fighting Spirit. This album is not difficult to approach as his previous albums for the general public, but it draws on a greater variety of the various subgenres of hardcore to embrace as much of a range of styles as possible.
