Samurai horror film s directed by Tomo-O Haraguchi, whose previous directing credits are "" (1991) and "Sakuya: yôkaiden" AKA "Sakuya: Slayer of Demons" (2000).Kibakichi
The first film, full title Bakko Yokaiden Kibakichi, was released in Japan in February of
2004 and in the U.S on DVD by Saiko Films/MTI Home Video in June of2005 . It stars Ryuji Harada, Miki Tanaka, and Mubu Nakayama.Tagline: "When monsters meld with humans, the sky will split and eternal darkness will cover the earth."
Synopsis
A lone samurai walks the countryside. His name is Kibakichi and his mouth hides sharp fangs. When he reaches a desolate village he finds it occupied by
Yokai , including geisha who turn into giant carnivorous spiders and man-eating demons disguised as humans. Their hunt for human flesh was in fact a contract with the town crime boss. What is the boss's plan? When the secret is revealed, Kibakichi goes into a rage and his body starts to mutate. Limbs will fly and heads will roll in a final showdown between good and evil.Kibakichi 2
The sequel was released on R1 DVD release on March 28th 2006 from Saiko Films/MTI Home Video.

Synopsis
