Armstrong Stadium is a 17,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Hampton, Virginia. It opened in 1928. It is home to the Hampton University Pirates football team. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the stadium underwent several renovations, and in 1999, a new section behind an end zone was added. The new section also houses football offices and meeting rooms.
