Kumpawat

Kumpawat is the name of a branch of the Rathore clan of Suryavanshi rajputs. They claim descent from Rao Kumpa (d. 1544), a nephew of Rao Jodha (founder of Jodhpur) and a general in the army of Rao Maldeo Rathore.
