hat-trick when the "Dons" beat Rangers 5-1 in aScottish League Cup semi final. He was capped twice for the Scotland national team in 1971.Since retiring as a player, he has managed Aberdeen, Dundee, Arbroath, Hibernian (as a caretaker), Notts County and Raith Rovers. He was reserve team manager at Sunderland before joining Plymouth Argyle as first team coach under
Bobby Williamson in2004 . When Williamson was sacked, Scott took over as caretaker manager for four games.External links
