He attended
Stanford University . In his junior year at Stanford he tied for thePac 10 lead in sacks with 13. In his senior year he not only led the Pac 10, but he also tied for the most sacks in the nation with currentCarolina Panthers starJulius Peppers . And he became the first ever Canadian to lead the Pac 10 in sacks in back to back years. He was quoted "We've played at Oregon and Texas but nothing can prepare you for Washington".NFL
Despite all his success in college, he was selected in the 6th round of the 2001
NFL draft by theCincinnati Bengals . He played 3 years for the Bengals. He appeared in 32 games and made a total of 30 tackles most of which were onspecial teams .Personal

Older brother Ahmani T. Johnson played football at Mariner High School in Everett. He played college football at the University of Idaho for two years and transferred to OREGON STATE University where he was a 2 year Letterman, the 1995 Most Improved Player and received HONORABLE MENTION ALL PAC-10 for 1995. Ahmani then played as a free agent in the NFL with the Chicago Bears and played in the CFL with the B.C. Lions.
Teyo played in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, and Buffalo Bills.Teyo is now playing in the CFL with the 2008 Calgary Stampeders.
