John Lentowicz

John Lentowicz

John Lentowicz (1957- ) was a Liberal candidate in the Lake Nipigon riding in the 1977 and 1981 Ontario provincial elections. Lentowicz was the youngest candidate in the province during the 1977 campaign.A native of Manitouwadge, he was a York University student in political science when he ran in 1977. He later was part of the campaign team for Sheila Copps during her bid for the Ontario Liberal provincial leadership in 1982 and nominated her at the leadership convention which saw the election of David Peterson. Lentowicz has been more recently active in Liberal party politics in Alberta.
