Takeda Nobuchika (武田信親, also known as Unno Nobuchika, 海野信親; 1541-1582) a meant-to-be retainer of the Japanese clan of Takeda during the
Sengoku period (16th century) of Japan. Nobuchika had been the second son of the famedTakeda Shingen . Nobuchika could not become a retainer of Shingen due to being born as fully blind. Shingen had instead assigned Nobuchika as the heir to theUno clan ofShinano province to further elaborate his influence. When the Oda/Tokugawa alliance had invadedKai province in 1582, Nobuchika committed suicide.Tokugawa Ieyasu , who had felt sympathy towards Nobuchika, protected his son from harm after his death.References
