* This was the only Bayside album that John "Beatz" Holohan appeared on.
* Album cover was taken on the roof of the Victory Records office in Chicago.
* The song 'Devotion & Desire' was used in the Electronic Arts game
* The song 'Montauk' is inspired by the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
* The solo from 'Montauk' was also used for a commercial promoting 'Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow'.
* The fourth track's title is close to the quote from the novel The Neverending Story, "They look like big, strong hands, don't they?"
* The song "Tortures of the Damned" is a reference to a quote from the movie A Clockwork Orange.
* The band Emmure, fellow Victory Records label mates, reference this album in their song "10 Signs You Should Leave" on their 2007 release "Goodbye To The Gallows". The lyrics at one point in the song are as follow: "And its sad to say, that / I still cry to the Bayside CD everyday. / Don't you know that those songs are about you? / Check tracks 8 and 9. / Then call me back."
