Steve Skeates

Steve Skeates is an American comic book writer for industry leaders DC Comics and Marvel Comics, among others, on characters including the Spectre, Hawk and Dove, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, Aquaman, and Namor the Sub-Mariner.

During the early 1970's he was a prolific writer at Warren Publishing, writing 72 stories from 1971 to 1975. Series he wrote at Warren included 'Targos', the original 'Pantha' series, 'The Mummy Walks', 'Curse of the Vampire' and 'And the Mummies Walk', a combination of the two prior mentioned series.
