9M119 Svir

AT-11 "Sniper" is the NATO reporting name for the 9M119 "Svir" or 9M119M "Refleks" laser beam riding guided anti-tank missiles, developed in the former Soviet Union. The two missiles are similar, varying only in range and launch platform. Both are designed to be fired from the 125 mm main guns of tanks. The "Refleks" is fired from the T-90 and some versions of the T-80 and T-84 tanks, while the "Svir" is fired from the T-72 series of tanks. The "Refleks" has also been produced by the People's Republic of China for use with the Type 98 tank and Serbia for use with M-2001. It can also be fired from the 2A45 Sprut-B anti-tank gun.

The name "Svir" comes from the River Svir, while "Refleks" means reflex.

The United States fielded a similar gun-launched system, the MGM-51 Shillelagh from the 1960s to 1980s, used in the M551 light tank.
