Its original name now is Dr. Babasaheb Bhadkamkar marg there's a police station named Dr. Babasaheb Bhadkamkar marg police station, which has a police colony attached to it.It is the address of famous theaters such as the Minerva, Apsara, and Novelty as well as some B and C grade theatres such as the Naaz.
