WPLA Planet Radio 107.3 MHz (formerly 93.3 MHz) is a modern rock radio station located in Jacksonville, Florida. The station is owned by Clear Channel Communications.

A long running afternoon rush-hour feature on the station is a segment called "Road Rage" where listeners from around the Jacksonville, Florida area call in and rant and vent about the traffic conditions on the local roads, an idea of vet afternoon host Klinger. He and Chumley (mid-day host) have been at the station since August of 1998. In December 2005, the station switched frequencies with another Clear Channel station in Jacksonville, country station WROO (currently at 93.3). On February 1, 2006, Lex and Terry joined the station as their new morning show.

Criticism

The station has come under fire for self imposed "censoring" of certain songs. Songs and bands that are popular and played regularly on other stations, such as Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Coldplay,and others are not played on the station. In addition, even with popular bands such as the 90s Grunge bands of Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam, their song selection is often limited.
