Australian rules football player for AFL team theWest Coast Eagles . He attended Trinity College inPerth, Western Australia .Recruited from the
West Australian Football League (WAFL) team Swan Districts, he made his debut for the Eagles in 1999. As of 2006, he is a vice-captain, and during Chris Judd's recent injury has been acting captain. He also won a premiership and aNorm Smith Medal in 2006 for his efforts in theAFL Grand Final .Embley was selected to represent Australia in the
International Rules series in 2004 despite being left out for all three games.He recently married his long-time partner, Rayne Bryant.
