Lee Groban, also known as L.D. Groban, is a
poet andvisionary artist best known for starring in the longest movie ever made, "The Cure for Insomnia " (1987 ), an ambitious 87-hour production which consisted of him reading his epic 5,000 page poem of the same name in its entirety. This feat earned him an entry in theGuinness Book of World Records .Groban, a lifelong resident of
Chicago, Illinois , received a Bachelors' Degree in Russian Language and Area Studies from theUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign , and a Masters' Degree in Library Science fromNorthern Illinois University inDeKalb, Illinois .
