Today, it has achieved most of these goals.The focus of Science Reporter is exchanging ideas about the state of science; matters of
science policy , and discussing the future course of science in India. It has therefore emerged as a one-stop solution for students on the lookout for latest updates about developments in science, as foreign scientific journals are often inaccessible to most of them. It is a comprehensive source of information, which helps south Asian students of science not only during competitive exams but also throughout their careers mainly because many articles published in Science Reporter are authored by eminent Indian scientists. It has also emerged as a media for encouraging upcoming science writers by guiding them editorially.Science Reporter has always been in the forefront of reporting scientific events as they happen, whether it is an erupting volcano, a landslide, an earthquake or an oil spill.
