Will Thorp (born
21 June 1977 inBristol ,England ) is an English actor. He studied at Bath College and joinedMusical Youth Theatre Company at an early age. He was also a member of theNational Youth Theatre . In 2000 he graduated from theBristol Old Vic Theatre School .His most famous role is flirty paramedic
Paul 'Woody' Joyner in "Casualty". He has also done theatre work: roles including Don John & Dogberry inMuch Ado About Nothing (2004), Teddy in Robbers and Sam (Sambo) in Fire Down Under! in 2002.His wife is a sign language interpreter, and they have two children.He also has a brother called Stewart Thorp.
In 2005 he appeared on the third series of the
BBC 's successful show "Strictly Come Dancing ", reaching seventh place with his partnerHanna Haarala . He has appeared as Toby Zed in the 2006 series of "Doctor Who " in the episodes "The Impossible Planet " and "The Satan Pit " [ cite web|url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/tv/wk23/feature_doctorwho.shtml|title=BBC Press Office programme information ] . In 2007, he guest-starred in the "Doctor Who" audio play "100".In mid 2006, Will played the leading role in a national UK tour of the play "Strangers on a Train".
