Bibbe Hansen

Bibbe Hansen (born 1952) is the daughter of the Fluxus artist Al Hansen (a Norwegian American), one of the key figures in the Andy Warhol Factory, and the bohemian poet Audrey Ostlin Hansen. Her stepfather Jimmy Shapiro was Jewish. She is also the mother of the eclectic musician Beck Hansen and the artist Channing Hansen.

Biography

Hansen fully integrated herself in the Warhol scene at the early age of thirteen with her lead role in Warhol’s film "Prison". She also appeared in Warhol's "Restaurant", "10 Beautiful Girls", and "10 More Beautiful Girls".

Hansen also recorded an album on Laurie Records with Jack Kerouac's daughter, Janet, in a band called The Whippets. Around 1990-1995, Hansen opened the Troy Café in Los Angeles with her husband, Sean Carrillo, and performed with singer, drag queen, and performance artist Vaginal Davis.
